    Hi,

Your instructions work fine on my Macbook (!) with Ubuntu 12.10. But after every startup of the machine I have to go to Dash and type “Cairo” to have the Cairo-dock displayed. Is there a way to have it started automatically at startup. Right-click isn’t present on Macs as you know, and Ctrl-click doesn’t work either. Besides I would like to know if there’s a way to get rid of the original Ubuntu icons in the narrow pane to the left on the screen. I have tried to do this the way you describe it, but I have no “Cairo Dock Gnome” session tp select.

    Best regards
    Kent C
